ASHLEY VEGAS
Some people say they found her on the dance floor, lover by her side and a martini in her hand. Nobody from the Vegas of the past remains to tell us who she used to be, but for now they call her Ashley Vegas.

I'm mildly wild, esoteric, and hopelessly in love with the chase of the night.

Painting is my way of making the world just a little more surreal, divine, and hyperreal. When I paint, I want others to remember passionate memories and hidden secrets of dance floors the world over. And when my pieces go to new homes, it's my hope that my memories go along with it and inspire others to live life just a little more glamorously.

Miami, Ibiza, Vegas, New York.

Q: Why the occasional focus on homosexuality?

“To be honest, she never really wanted a boyfriend. Even in the very beginning, monotonous Friday night dinners and movies had an air of sadness. The idea that you were cursed to a life indoors, a life of cooking the same dinner and seeing the same friends. It all seemed pointless; devoid of creativity. This one, she needed more. She needed to feel the free wind, the excitement of doing whatever she pleased. Granted, she was also doomed to a life of loneliness, but that’s a feeling no different from being in a dead relationship.”I have some 2500 photos of 6 men on my computer. That should be enough to keep me busy for a long time, but I don’t want to burn through 6 models so quickly.Sooooo I’m going to be looking for 2 new models. I have no idea where to shoot, or look, but that’s the plan. Requirements are pretty simple.  -Looks good in a suit-Has nice hair -Small amount of experience/not camera shy-Preferably gay.
